Safe Sleep Practices

At Colleen’s Child Care, we follow the safe sleep regulations for all children sleeping in a crib or pack n play.

ALL infants under age 12 months MUST have an Individual Infant Sleeping Plan (LIC9227) on file.

All infants are placed on their backs to sleep.

No blankets, pillows or toys of any kind can be in the crib or pack n play. Nothing can be hanging above or on the side.

Pacifiers cannot have anything attached to them.

Swaddling and sleep sacks are not allowed.

Infants may not sleep in car seats, swings, strollers or any other type of infant “container”. Providers may not hold an infant to keep them asleep. A sleeping infant must be placed into a crib or pack n play.
