I want to take the time to introduce my family’s pets. All four live inside and are healthy and up to date on vaccinations.

Mango
Mango is the oldest cat in the house at about 15 years old. He chose my house to be his home many years ago when he showed up at my front door. He’s a mellow old cat who loves people and sleeping! You will more often find him sleeping on my bed all day. He does tend to be curious though around new people and will come out to see who is here. He LOVES to try to get outside any chance he gets so he is confined to my room during drop off and pick up times.

Piper
Piper was adopted in 2021 after our other cat Oreo passed away. Mango needed a companion and Piper has filled that need. Piper is friendly, curious, playful, and can be rather demanding at times. She is also too smart for her own good. You will often find her sleeping next to Mango during the day or playing with her toys in my living room.

Shelby
Shelby was born to a feral / stray cat that hung out in my backyard. Shelby was handled from birth although her mom did not like that, so she has always been friendly. At 9 weeks old, Shelby was brought inside to live where she has the last 4 years or so. She is friendly but also very shy and cautious and can be at times a bit skittish. She stays away from the childcare kids and will often sleep in my room during the day.

Bailey
Bailey chose us to be her family in July 2025. She showed up in our garage and that was it; she was home. She is a loving, and very people (including children) friendly cat. Bailey is often found sleeping in the chair in the childcare room or on my daughter’s bed. She wants to be around people so yes, she does come out around the children from time to time.

My cats are a part of my family and home! They are all vaccinated and healthy and are free to roam the house most of the day. Children in my care are taught to be gentle with them and are only allowed to pet them when I am sitting with them to supervise. This rule is not only for your child’s protection but also my cats. I have no reason to believe that my cats would every hurt anyone, but I don’t want to take that chance.
